How to make Hock Skin Bags
November 25–26, 2024
Learn how to use a part of the deer that is often discarded: the lowest part of the leg, or leg skins. Hock skins bags are traditionally from Northern America from the drier regions but serve just as well in other climates as long as you keep them dry.
During this course you will learn the way how to skin and clean the legs the proper way. You will learn how to sew raw hide as well as leather with fine and durable stitching. You are free to make choices in size, in style, in form, and in design. Your hock skin bags will turn truly unique!
